Quick timer
1 Minute Timer
Sixty seconds on the clock. Press start.
Sound settings
Sixty seconds, clearly shown
A one minute timer is great for quick challenges and anything you want to keep honest: a minute-to-win-it game, a plank, a one-minute speech or elevator pitch, a timed times-tables drill, a mindful breathing pause or making sure the kettle has properly boiled.
The final ten seconds turn the ring coral so everyone can see the end coming, and the soft alarm sounds at zero.
Quick to repeat
When the minute is up, just press Start again for another round. If you're doing repeated rounds with rest in between, the interval timer will run them back to back for you. Need to time how long something takes instead? Use the stopwatch.
Running timed drills, such as one minute of skipping or a minute per question? Tick Repeat and the timer restarts the moment it hits zero, with a short sound each time, so you can rotate without touching the screen. Copy link saves the setup for next time.
Frequently asked questions
How do I restart the 1 minute timer?
Press Start again after it finishes, or press R to reset at any time.
Can I set 30 or 90 seconds?
Yes. Type the seconds into the Custom boxes (for example 0 min 30 sec) and press Set.
Will it keep running if I switch tabs or lock my screen?
Yes. The timer works from your device clock, so it stays accurate in a background tab, and the tab title shows the time left. If your phone locks, the countdown carries on, but some phones delay sound until you unlock, so keep the screen on for anything important.
